Opportunities galore

IBN (Integrale Bedrijven Noordoost-Brabant =Integral Companies North-East Brabant) is one of the largest business service providers in the north-eastern region of North Brabant. Its objective is to offer assistance in acquiring paid work to as many people as possible who are distanced from the labour market. People who have to rely on subsidised forms of employment, such as the Sheltered Employment Act or the Jobseekers Employment Act.

IBN has five companies to meet its objectives: Arbeidsintegratie (Work integration), Facilitair (Facility), Kwekerijen (Nurseries), Productie (Production) and Kader (Personnel). These companies supply a multitude of products and services, which compare with those of the better companies in various markets. More than 3,600 people work for IBN.

IBN Work integration

Have you been outside the employment process or is there a threat that you will be in the future? IBN Work integration offers you a goal-oriented and professional pathway to find out exactly which job would suit you best. Your wishes and abilities, amongst other things, will be taken into account. Together we will then be able to work on your return to the employment market. After your intake, a personal development plan will be created presenting various opportunities. Direct employment finding is an option, as well as job application training and schooling. If work experience is required for your potential new job, you can gain this through a secondment post with another (regular) employer or within one of the other IBN-companies. Even if you have to rely on subsidised work permanently, we will first look for a job with another employer before we will attempt to find you a place with one of the other IBN-companies.

IBN Facility

The most service-oriented company of IBN. The well-trained and excellently equipped Facility employees can take care of greenery and buildings from top to bottom. Facility provides all sorts of building service activities. Refurbishing or renovating with an eye for detail is the motto. A skilled painters' team provides the finishing touches for construction, refurbishment or regular maintenance. In addition,

Facility provides for the design, planning, management and maintenance of all types of green areas. The odd-job teams take care of street cleaning, litter removal or neighbourhood management. IBN-facility can also run your company restaurant, the school canteen or provide comprehensive catering. Small maintenance, building management, reception and messenger services are some other activities of this IBN-company.

IBN-nurseries

People with green fingers can turn their hobby into their profession at IBN Nurseries. With incredible patience, the employees of this cuttings company take and plant out little cuttings to develop under ideal circumstances. After the cuttings have formed sufficient roots, they are delivered to the customers. A minor part of the rooted cuttings are potted up for IBN's own cultivation. After a growing season under glass or outside, these young plants are supplied to councils, other tree nurseries, trade nurseries and auctions. IBN Nurseries has branches in Uden and in Schaijk. IBN Nurseries' greenhouses are equipped with state-of-the-art computer controlled climate management equipment.

IBN-production

IBN Production makes for example soap dispensers and different household goods. In all branches, Production employees assemble and package both simple and very complex items. All products meet high quality requirements. The employees of this assembly, mounting and packaging company also process castings. Mailing activities are also provided by IBN Production. Another possibility is Group Secondment, i.e. groups of employees perform production work in the customer's company.

IBN Personnel
Besides subsidised employees, IBN also employs unsubsidised staff. They are employed by IBN Personnel and they are seconded to other IBN-companies or another employer.
